I’m Jack McWilliams and I started doing comedy at Indiana University in 2015. At IU, I did improv & sketch with Midnight Snack Comedy and stand up at the Comedy Attic.

After graduating, I moved home to Chicago. I performed improv & sketch comedy at the Second City, iO Chicago and with my own group of IU alums; Bear Skin Rug Comedy. At the same time I ran my own stand up comedy shows in my hometown of Wilmette and right next door in Evanston. Around this time covid hit and upended everything.

When I could perform again, I decided to focus solely on stand up. Since then I’ve performed at Zanies Chicago & Rosemont, Laugh Factory Chicago, the Den Theatre, The Comedy Bar, and more. After many years of comedy in Chicago, I met the love of my life in the audience of a show of mine at the Red Room Comedy Club. Only problem was, she lived in Austin, TX.

Currently I am a comedic snow bird. Spending 6 months in Chicago then spending 6 months in Austin. Soon enough I need to pick a place to settle down, but for now follow along to keep abreast with my most recent happenings.
